I've been doing some research with Emotiv Epoc, but it has a lot of disadvantages, for example it is almost impossible to evaluate female participants with long hair and small heads - the device does not get any signal from them. Furthermore Emotiv sometimes looses signal from some single electrodes and the quality of the data that it provides is not so great.
Do you know any other low-cost EEG devices that you would recommend for studies regarding emotions?

The project is sponsored by National Centre of Research and Development – INNOTECH-K3/IN3/56/225874/NCBR/15. The project is made by two partners Value Based Advisors Ltd. and Wrocław University of Technology. The main goal is preparation of a set of software tools that could be useful to increase the sale in local shops as well as on-line shops. The solution will be based on Big Data Analysis based on sales information of small shops an on-line shops. The research will focus on data analysis based on ontologies and UX studies of cocpits. We are now developing SimplyTick web application for Shopify on-line shops.
