Introduction
I'm currently working on the ecology of butterflies, and the biology of their conservation, changes in distribution range, effect of climate change, protandry. I use historical data, and I colaborate with other searcher on Linear Mixte Model and niche model to oriented and advise a conservation biology policy.

A dataset of 1621 records of the butterfly Limenitis populi from 1960 to 2018 was compiled using data gathered in France. Limenitis populi is a poorly recorded species with a mean of 27.2 ± 14.6 records per year during this period. The aim of the study was to describe and evaluate the impact of global warming since the 1990’s on the phenology and r...

Canada yew (Taxus canadensis Marsh.) is a clonal species with two types of ramets. The most common type has bilateral symmetry and alternate branching. The radial symmetry and opposite branching of the rarer type are similar to the architecture expressed in a young plant grown from seed. Architectural analysis was conducted on four colonies of incr...
Article
Most plants combine sexual reproduction with asexual clonal reproduction in varying degrees, yet the genetic consequences of reproductive variation remain poorly understood. The aquatic plant Butomus umbellatus exhibits striking reproductive variation related to ploidy. Diploids produce abundant viable seed whereas triploids are sexually sterile. D...

This study is a comparative analysis of architectural structure and internal genetic variability of populations of two common moss taxa: Polytrichum formosum and Polytrichum commune var. perigoniale. The genetic diversity within populations of the two taxa was evaluated by RAPD analysis using 11 different primers. Among five populations analyzed fo...

Zouhair, R., Corradini, P., Defontaine A. & Hallet, J. N.: RAPD markers for genetic differentiation of species within Polytrichum ( Polytrichaceae, Musci ): a preliminary survey – Taxon 49: 217–229. 2000. – ISSN 0040‐0262. A combination of morphological data and RAPD markers were analysed using thirty colonies from Brittany (France) in six taxa of...

In the heathlands of Brittany, Polytrichum commune is a pioneer moss that becomes established after fires. Two approaches were used to follow clonal growth in a sample of 20 colonies. Four cohort stem ages were identified (1 to 4 years old). Stem density profiles for different stem cohorts across colonies showed a predominantly central cohort 1 ste...
Article
Heathlands in Brittany are subject to recurrent summer burning. Recolonisation after large fires begins with bryophytes, but species composition during succession may be altered by colonies of Polytrichum commune Hedw. which appears to be able to prevent reestablishment of the typical heathland formation. Three complementary levels of investigation...
Article
After listing difficulties of bryophyte cultures, a survey of about 60 articles leads to point out four kinds of techniques based on different substratum. Advice to choosing a culturing method is suggested. This help takes into account the purpose of different researches. It is related to sterilization conditions, constitution of the culture medium...
