Project Summary The InovSafeCare project aims to create a pedagogical model for nursing students to prevent and control health-care associated infections (HAIs) through the implementation of the InovSafeCare model during their academic training. The InovSafeCare model will help nursing students to develop skills for the prevention and control of HAIs by fostering critical thinking and decision making, providing them with the necessary skills for planning, implementing, and assessing nursing care sensitive to societal challenges, while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care. This innovative pedagogical model will also contribute to the development of a creative and entrepreneurial spirit in young nursing students, encouraging them to analyze the current realities of the clinical settings where they develop their training and design innovative solutions for the prevention and control of HAIs.
