Introduction
I have supported the provision of Recognition of Prior Learning within Cork Institute of Technology for twenty seven years. My day to day routine involves mentoring students with RPL case preparation and providing support for staff with assessment of these cases. My research interests include RPL, work based learning, e portfolios, capturing and valuing learning and researching ways to promote the activation of the learner in documenting non formal and informal learning
