Introduction
My main research area is clinical trials and meta-analysis in stroke treatment and prevention. I lead (together with my Co-Chief Investigators Richard Lindley and Joanna Wardlaw) The third International Stroke Trial of thrombolysis for ischaemic stroke. We are now working with the Stroke Thrombolysis Trialists Collaboration to on an individual patient data meta-analysis of all trials thrombolysis with rt-PA for stroke.
