Introduction
Pedro Calaza, PhD, is director of Galician Landscape School and dean of Galician Agricultural Engineers College. He teach at UPM, He has lectured at different universities and conferences: Boston, Milan, Bogota, Praha, Madrid, Santiago,etc. and publishes in journals on landscape architecture, green infrastructure and health. Pedro obtained several book prizes such as Juan Julio and Libro Agrario. He is member of executive board of Spanish ass. of parks and coordinator of urban forest commission.

The Journal Arkitekturax Visión FUA is a conjoined annual publication edited by the Faculty of Architecture and the Research Department of the University of America Foundation in Bogotá, Colombia. Its purpose is to further the progress of science by publishing research articles, originals and unpublished; particularly those within three major fields: architecture, city and environment. In terms of architecture, will be included articles regarding the following: new materials and new techniques and technologies related to contemporary construction; preservation, restoration and heritage retrofitting; theory, history and criticism of design; natural lighting, energy self-sufficiency and bioclimatic design; strategic management and rainwater usage; resilience, sustainability and the analysis of the life cycle of buildings; dismantling, recycling and repurposing of materials once the life cycle of a building has reached its end, among others. Concerning the city account, articles would include, but would not be limited to: urban bioclimatic, wind regulation and heat island control; resilience front to flood and other catastrophic events derived from climate change; urban metabolism; green infrastructure and blue urbanism; sustainable and alternative mobility; urban economics, creative cities and cultural districts; smart cities, creative basins and clusters of production; urban sociology, spatial exclusion, urban corruption, migration, insecurity and urban fragmentation, among other themes. Finally, the concept of environment will be transversal and will extend to geographical and territorial aspects, regarding ecosystems, biodiversity and natural resources, as well as landscape architecture, urban environmental quality, air and noise pollution, urban water management, urban tree planting, urban flora and fauna, among other things.
