Introduction
I'm a specialist in the field of low altitude aerial photogrammetry, sea and air navigation, aviation instructor, programmer of unmanned systems. The main areas of scientific interest are unmanned systems (aerial, surface, underwater), and in particular the issue of navigation of unmanned platforms and the performance of measurements from these platforms. I have an extensive professional experience in working with professional unmanned systems. I'm an experienced designer and modeler of aviation (involved in aviation modeling for over 25 years). I completed specialist courses in the field of UAVO and RPAS, modern communication systems and IT systems. Licensed UAV operator in the category VLOS and BVLOS MR 25 kg. Licensed competitor in the class of slope gliders.

According to the current state of knowledge, an inappropriate use of artificial lighting at night (ALAN) has a number of negative effects on health and life of many organisms. The main goal of the project is to develop an ALAN monitoring method in natural and urban environments. The basic assumptions for the new method are: the use of unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with a multispectral camera and photosensitive sensors, a mathematical modeling and a geographic information system (GIS). It is an innovative approach to the problem of monitoring this type of pollution. The IMPETUS project is based on holistic approach (technical, social, art, visual) supported by IT solutions to enable vulnerability assessment, to support the decision making process, enhance public participation and improve adaptation planning. The methodology will be used both for education and research purposes. The aim of this project is to: 1. Create awareness about climate change related vulnerabilities and challenges at local level among target groups; 2. Integrate the challenges of climate change in the curricula of different faculties and disciplines of EU HEI’s to increase awareness as well as to equip students & staff with innovative methodology combining social, technical and visual ones for acquiring data about climate vulnerabilities; 3. Develop a sustainable relationship and continue an active international cooperation between the partners. Dear Collegaues, This Special Issue seeks the submission of review and original research articles related to sensors and sensor fusion in autonomous vehicles. Autonomous vehicle navigation has been at the centre of several major developments, both in civilian and defence applications. New technologies like multisensory data fusion, big data processing, and deep learning are changing the quality of areas of applications, improving sensors and systems used. New ideas like 3D radar, 3D sonar, LIDAR, and others are based on autonomous vehicle revolutionary development. The Special Issue is open to contributions dealing with many aspects of autonomous vehicle sensors and their fusion, like autonomous navigation, multi-sensor fusion, big data processing for autonomous vehicle navigation, sensors related to science/research, algorithms/technical development, analysis tools, synergy with sensors in navigation, and artificial intelligence methods for autonomous vehicle navigation.
