Introduction
Professor Paulo Henrique de Souza Bermejo has a PhD in Knowledge Engineering and Management from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil) and has done post-doctoral work in innovation at Bentley University (USA). Currently, he is an Associate Professor (tenured) at Department of Administration at Universidade de Brasilia – UnB (Brazil). He also teaches and advises in the Graduate Program of Administration at UnB. His research interests include open innovation, knowledge technology and innovation management, governance and strategic management applied in the public sector. Over his 25-year career, Bermejo has published more than 60 refereed papers and book chapters and has developed over 25 technology-based products in partnership with public and private institutions.
