Introduction
I am assistant professor with aggregation at the Department of Psychology, University of Évora, Portugal. I teach vocational psychology and career counseling in the Educational Psychology Master Program. Researcher at the Research Unit in Economy and Management (CEFAGE-UE), at the University of Évora, my main research interests are career development of disadvantaged populations and the process of clients' change in career counseling. In these areas of research I published several articles and book chapters. In addition to teaching and research, I maintain practice of career counseling at the University of Évora. Member of the editorial board of the Journal of Vocational Behavior and advisory board of the International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance.
