Introduction
I am Full Professor in University of Minho (Portugal) in the Department of Geography. I got my PhD in Human Geography in 1999 with co-direction of the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium). My research interests are Regional and Local Development, Cultural Tourism, Creative Tourism and Health Geography. Between 2017 and 2020 I was the Head of the Department of Geography and in the period 2017-2020 the Director of Lab2PT (Laboratory of Landscape, Heritage and Territory).
