This project represents a new stage in our research program, and seeks to apply the knowledge we have accumulated over the last decade to improving teaching/learning processes involved in the production of written syntheses from multiple texts as a means to promote learning. Among other objectives, we are aimed specifically to designand implement interventions to help university students to integrate information from multiple texts that present different positions on a controversial issue in both classroom and online teaching formats, and to evaluate their effectiveness.
