Question
Does anyone have an access to the full text of this paper "The efficacy of spinal manipulation, amitriptyline and the combination of both therapies for the prophylaxis of migraine headache." J Manipulative Physiol Ther. 1998 Oct;21(8):511-9. Much appreciated, Best wishes,
Question
Interestingly, the EIC of @JCompEffRes wrote to me that they ”we will be contacting the authors to discuss whether a correction notice [for the following paper doi/10.2217/cer-2022-0031by @magdalena zeglen @tomasz brzostek] is appropriate” even though the letter to the editor was denied publication. The EIC said “the criticism in the Letter is not valid” but when I asked for a list of examples in which points I made are not "valid", I received no response. Another example of silencing a constructive debate on #evidencebasedmedicine #evidencebasedpractice #systematicreview #evidencesynthesis #Parkinson’sDisease #Opicapone
I have the pleasure of sharing the letter here.
Any comments regarding the alleged “lack of valid points”, highly welcomed. Best wishes, Pawel Posadzki, PhD
Question
The EIC of @nutritionreviews did not encourage scientific debate on #evidencebasedmedicine #evidencebasedpractice #systematicreview #evidencesynthesis and refused to publish a letter to the editor, in which I criticised lack of rigour in the systematic review on dietary phytoestrogens and biomarkers and cancer survival and recurrence (rather important health topic) by @tomasz brzostek @agnieszka micek. I have the pleasure of sharing the aforementioned letter here. Any comments, highly welcomed. Best wishes, Pawel Posadzki, PhD
Question
Anyone interested in updating/writing systematic reviews or overviews of reviews in complementary medicine area? No financial incentives but possible publications in high quality peer-reviewed journals. With all my best wishes, Paul
Question
Dear All, is anyone interested in updating a systematic review on massage (rejected with minor comments from PAIN)? (registered at: CRD42013004982) Kindly please let me know. Thank you very much indeed. With all my best wishes, Paul
Question
Does anyone would like to contribute a chapter on treatments used in CAM for the 38th ed of SEDA?
