My colleagues and I have been developing a method to automatically detect stomata and measure their aperture in nail polish stomatal peels; so that stomatal conductance can be automatically calculated. We have completed some testing with grapevine leaves but are looking for images of stomatal peels from other plants.
To be useful the images need to be approximately 400x magnification, contain a scale (so we can calculate stomata size) and have a corresponding stomatal conductance value.
