This project seeks to explore the drivers of political vigilantism in Ghana. It will provide a nuanced understanding of what political vigilantism is in Ghana and the main drivers of it. This study will offer Ghanaian citizens the opportunity to be well informed about the activities of party militias or vigilantes. This study contributes to getting a working definition of political vigilantism. In addition, it will document the various stakeholders that are involved in the vigilante enterprise and how their activities aid the process. This knowledge will contribute significantly to policy response to political vigilantism in Ghana. This project is a research support grant from the DIRECTORATE OF RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND CONSULTANCY (DRIC) of the UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST, GHANA.
