Das Projekt verfolgt das Ziel, verschiedene Prototypen für digitale Anwendungen zu entwickeln. Diese sollen für Projekte der Hochschule Mainz ebenso verfügbar sein, wie für externe Partner aus Verwaltung, Wirtschaft und Zivilbevölkerung. Gefördert wird dieses Vorhaben durch die Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung.

Dieses Projekt ist eines von drei Teilvorhaben innerhalb des Innovationsprojekts „5GMedia2Go“. Gemeinsam mit diesem Bündnis aus der Automobil- und Telekommunikationsbranche soll die Integration von audiovisuellen Mediendiensten wie linearem TV, Zugang zur ARD-Mediathek und ortsabhängigen Inhalten in das Infotainment-System von Automobilen ermöglicht werden.
