Introduction
Paolo Barsocchi received "Laurea" degree and PhD from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. On April 2004 he joined the Institute of Information Science and Technologies (ISTI) an institute of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). My research covers a range of topics from wireless channel modeling, wireless mobile systems and architectures, multimedia communications and services in terrestrial wireless networks, and localization in wireless sensor networks. My current projects are focused on two areas: Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), and wireless systems and protocols.
