Paola Giorgis is a practictioner and an independent scholar. She is co-founder and member of womaned, women's studies in anthropology and education. Paola does research in Critical Applied Linguistics, Foreign Language Education, Intercultural Education, Sociolinguistics, Pragmatics and Peace Education. Her most recent publication is 'Meeting Foreignness. Foreign Languages and Foreign Language Education as Critical and Intercultural Experiences.'. She currently works on how words and language (re)produce different narratives of Otherness and how such constructions can be problematized.

Project (1)
The project consists of the development of an online dictionary of contextualized keywords, which have been shaping different forms of Otherness juxtaposed to some creative proposals to problematize and reverse such narratives.
