My research interest focuses on inclusive and special needs education, theories of disabilities, pedagogical models of teaching and learning, and on innovative educational policies and practices. In my PhD thesis, I explored the implementation of inclusive educational policies and practices for the students with mild learning difficulties at public mainstream secondary schools in Cyprus. I am currently working on Educovid-19, exploring how the pandemic has changed the educational scenario.
