Introduction
I am currently working on two complementary research areas: a) Affective User Experience (UAX) as a subarea of Human Computer Interaction (HCI); b) machine learning techniques to improve interaction, focused primarily on people with disabilities. We investigate the interaction of people with Down Syndrome, their abilities, emotions, and interaction requirements, to establish patterns and models that facilitate their learning, achieving novel results with gestural interactions and gamification.
