Introduction
Oscar Muñoz is an Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine, Javeriana University at Bogotá Colombia. Currently is Chief of Research at Internal Medicine Department of San Ignacio’s Hospital at Bogotá Colombia. Dr. Muñoz attended National University of Colombia, where he received an M.D. degree in 1998. His subsequent career included residency in internal medicine at San Ignacio´s Hospital, a Master degree and a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology at Javeriana University. His research has focused on cardiovascular risk factors, diabetes technology, and on development and implementation of Clinical Practice Guidelines in the Colombian Health System
