Introduction
Oscar Concepcion Laffitte currently works at the Laboratory of Cell and Tissues Culture, Centro de Bioplantas, University of Ciego de Avila. 1. Prospecting and collecting varieties for the creation of a germplasm bank and an area of mother plants. 2. Develop an in vitro propagation protocol for the introduction and accelerated reproduction of new genotypes of Stevia rebaudiana. 3. Produce stances in fields and field conditions for agromorphological and productive study of plant biomass and natural sweetener. 4. Obtain raw extracts rich in this glycolide. 5. Establish the crop in Bimetal Bioreactors (BIT®) for the production of plant biomass and natural sweetener under natural conditions.
