Genomic data derived from viruses hold immense potential to inform public health and biomedicine. However, this will require the development of computational approaches for managing and analyzing virus sequence data that can deal efficiently with the scale and complexity of these data in the era of NGS. We have developed GLUE, a data-centric software framework that can capture all of the information associated with collections of virus sequences in a standardized way. The GLUE framework incorporates a rich command layer that can be used to interrogate and manipulate project data, and to interact with other software systems. URL: http://glue-tools.cvr.gla.ac.uk/
