Introduction
Presently, I am very interested in working on how Math is integrated and implemented in Preschool classrooms. I have been able to adapt some children's literature in integrating math activities and implementing them at home. This is very low-key and rather exploratory.

Question
Hello:
I was wondering what prompted this research? I ask because a while back, I began a small qualitative study on Immigrant fathers of West African descent with a goal of unraveling their perspectives, challenges, and insights on parenting in a different country.  As an Early Childhood Educator, I know that many of the nation's preschoolers come from immigrant families/homes. Just wondering. I truly hope that your study enriches others' understanding and appreciation of "others" and the gifts they bring. Thank you.

Hello,
I am teaching a summer course on Curriculum & Methods: The Emergent Reader and learned the importance of math curriculum on emergent literacy. Could you please share insights about the connections between math in EC and literacy development.
