Tec-Land project proposal focuses on identifying the main drivers that impacted the evolution of agricultural landscape by driving changes in land use and farming practices in Romania. The objective of the project is to perform an unprecedented survey of the evolution of Romanian agricultural landscape during the past 25 years using an innovative technology that involves satellite data, socio-economic analysis and meteorological information. The main result of the project will be an innovative technology for the analysis of the agricultural landscape at national level that will support the refinement of the current policies towards a more sustainable approach.
