Introduction: Parents to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) face diverse daily demands that can lead to stress. The aim of this study was to examine to which extent stress in parents to children with ASD can be explained by daily demands before and during the COVID-19 pandemic (after lockdowns; first half of 2022), and whether there are d...

The present study explores how multiple teacher characteristics (i.e., knowledge, beliefs, self-efficacy, and self-regulation) co-occur within 649 German teacher candidates at the end of pre-service teacher education and how these profiles are related to teachers’ future occupational well-being. A latent profile analysis identified one highly knowl...

Context The ability to self‐monitor one's performance in clinical settings is a critical determinant of safe and effective practice. Various studies have shown this form of self‐regulation to be more trustworthy than aggregate judgements (i.e. self‐assessments) of one's capacity in a given domain. However, little is known regarding what cues inform...

Beginning teachers are often associated with high strain and the so called reality shock. Although the German teacher induction process is supposed to ensure a smooth transition to becoming a teacher it is often a subject to criticism. In many research contexts where a multilevel data structure is present, researchers have to aggregate individual responses to the group level (e.g., team climate) to test specific hypotheses. An established way of justifying this aggregation is to show sufficient within-group agreement. An increasingly common measure of within-group agreement is th...

Question
Hi everyone,
recently I finished my PhD where I implemented a complax simulation study for the parameter recovery and sensitiivty to model misspecification of cognitive diagnosis models (like IRT mdoels with binary latent varaibles) in R and Mplus.
Now I became a real fan of simulation and am mainly interested in exchange on simulation studies in IRT context.
Best regards,
Olga
