The mankind activity on geological medium management comprises it"s multilfteral use and protection (a general scheme is presented). The basic metodological tool for information supervision of R&D on geological medium management is the infogeology. Infogeology - it is a geological scince aimed at Earth geospheres (first of all geological medium) construction,matter composition and genesis, as well as functional properties investiganions by modern information technologies with the purpose of their cognition and management. The general universal formula of infogeological cognition has been stated: formation-matter system of Earth functioning. In fact this formula controls all directions of human activity (as well as natural geological processes).The basic systematic tool of geological medium structurization (for target oriented infogeological modelling) is the principle of frame organization. Infogeoframe - it is a geoinformatical structural-matter prognostic-retrospective-static reflection (image) of geological odject, intended for target research and (or) ralization of actions on geological medium management.The hierarchial scheme of the Earth geological systeme infogeoframe organization is presented. The typisation of infogeoframes has been marked. Basing upon these theoretic approaches the principles of of information supervision for certain issues of geological activity are in progress and already presented for implenenting (oil-gas geology,placer deposits,salt resources, sites of mining geological medium degradation etc.) The results expected of this theory development - the scientific ground for the foundation of unificated integrated system for information supervision of R&D on geological medium management.
