船舶や漁網用の防汚剤として長年用いられてきたTBT等の有機スズ剤は, 水圏生態系に対する慢性影響が懸念され, 我が国においては, 1997年以降TBT含有塗料の製造が中止された。一方, それに代わる代替船底防汚剤が世界中で使われることになり, 海水への残留を示す調査結果が報告され始めている。当研究所では, 2002年度から3年間広島湾北部のマリーナ, 漁港, 海域の環境基準点及び河川において, 代替船底防汚剤の濃度を調査した。その結果, マリーナ, 漁港, 海域の環境基準点の海水からIrgarol, M1 (Irgarolの分解物) , Diuron, Seanine211が検出され, 広島湾北部でも代替船底防汚剤により汚染されていることが明らかとなった。

We have established a non-profit organization and are working to help the prevention of global warming.
As one of our activities, we hold a “Global Warming Prevention Panel Exhibition” at shopping malls and conduct questionnaire surveys. Some of the answers suggested that “global warming” was a lie. There is also an opinion that there is no correlation between the rise in carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere and the rise in temperature.

Zero CO2 emissions On earth. We have felt the crisis of recent global warming, so have established our NPO “Environment NGO Kingfisher” for the purpose of raising awareness of global warming prevention and popularizing CO2 removal technology. We would like to work with researchers, engineers and companies around the world to complete project which remove CO2 from the atmosphere, or to remove CO2 from the earth using already completed technology. What Environment NGO Kingfisher is going to do 1. Promote activities for citizens to prevent global warming Renting event spaces such as shopping malls, and hold panel exhibitions once a month. 2. A dissemination project that uses the CO2 reduction technology that has already been developed in factories with high CO2 emissions It is possible to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere more efficiently by processing the exhaust gas from the factory that emits CO2 having a higher concentration than in the atmosphere. 3. Direct CO2 removal business from the atmosphere Reduce CO2 in the atmosphere by using technology that has been developed to remove CO2 directly from the atmosphere. Science CO2 is removed directly from the atmosphere, we believe that the earth`s CO2 concentration can be reduced regardless of the installation location even in Japan. 4. Survey and research projects related to environmental conservation Until now, we have conducted research on the environmental impact of Hiroshima Bay and the effects of ship-bottom paint substances on marine organisms.
