Unique traditional designs, localised materials and micro-climates are leading factors in its refurbishment thinking, practices and process.

This research will focus on the people (stakeholders) and social (interaction) between heritage and the future generation. This workshop could potentially transform the Malaysian heritage industry in conserving and refurbishing existing heritage buildings by improving environmental sustainability, cut carbon emissions and enhancing building conditions.
