Introduction
Dr. Bhatia is a Scientist performing Research in Cardiovascular Medicine and an Interventional Cardiologist practicing in Alabama. He completed his Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardio-Oncology and Advanced Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He has published more than 33 original articles, presented more than 50 abstracts at National and International meetings, received various awards and served as invited peer reviewer for numerous cardiovascular medicine journals. His research involves studying clinical outcomes in patients with cardiovascular disease, especially which is a result of malignancies (Cardio-Oncology) and Structural Heart Disease. His work has been widely cited (>300 times) in prominent international journals.
