Introduction
My research reflects a longstanding interest in the areas of market-based accounting, textual analysis and natural language processing. My main research interests lie in corporate disclosures and information intermediaries. Some of my recent work examines the role of the financial media in the information transmission process relative to corporate announcements, and the extent to which the financial press serves as an important information intermediary in the capital markets.
