PhD Sciences

I am a researcher in the field of conservation biogeography, biodiversity monitoring, spatial and landscape ecology, using mainly invertebrates (e.g. butterflies) and vertebrates (e.g. birds) as study organisms.
Important axes of my research are the improvement of predictive modelling approaches to guide the development of science-based conservation strategies and the integration of such approaches in monitoring projects to better understand biodiversity dynamics in space and over time.
