Introduction
I have set up 'The Autonomy Hotline', a phone and email support service to families who are facing difficult relationships with medical and social care professionals. The service aims to highlight good practice, improve relationships and offer advice for families to retain autonomy when faced with court proceedings. My work specifically looks for underlying medical ethical issues and coercive control in professional conduct. I am an emerging specialist in medical ethics and family law.
