Introduction
I am interested in understanding the underlying mechanisms that control the entire spectrum of fault behavior. Especially, the hydromechanical processes that characterize fault and rock deformation. My research focuses on multi-monitoring the faults and intact rocks deformation in laboratory experiments. I used biaxial and triaxial rock deformation apparatus at different saturation and pore-pressure conditions, combined with microstructure and petrophysical characterization.
