Introduction
Nicholas Karachalis is Assistant professor in the field of cultural and tourism strategies with an interdisciplinary approach (economic geography, urban policy, management, tourism policy) . He has experience as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Thessaly and as a lecturer at the post-graduate programme in Cultural Management at the Hellenic Open University. He is currently working on the COVID-19 pandemic effects on cities and destinations in Greece.
