Project
This qualitative study aims to discover whether managers regard the role of the Consultant Radiographer in plain film as desirable. For those who already employ Consultant Radiographers we also wish to discover what managers perceive to be the main requirements from the role. This will be a single center study however it is hoped that the emerging themes can be used to form the basis for a further national study. An invitation to participate will be distributed via email to relevant managerial roles including; Superintendent Radiographer, Deputy Radiology Professional Lead and Radiology Professional Lead. Whilst we expect emerging themes of wants and needs to largely mimic those of the professional body and of previous literature we believe that there will be differences in expectation with regards to research practice.
