Introduction
As part of a new collaboration with colleagues from the School of Engineering and industry partners, I am currently leading a project to explore how prosthetic design features can impact upon the emotional value of products to users. This project will use principles of Kansei engineering combined with machine learning, to develop sharing decision making tools which can be used by clinicians and their clients to optimise prosthetic services and devices.
