Introduction
Dr Elijah Chinawa is an Ophthalmologist. He was the lead surgeon at Mercy Hospital Abak, Akwa Ibom State from 2015-2017 where he performed/supervised about 3000 eye surgeries. He presently consults at Department of Ophthalmology, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital in Nigeria. He is the Medical Director of Siloam Eye specialist Hospital and President of Siloam eye foundation. He is involved with medical research, teaching and outreaches.
