Introduction
In 2017 a new research group “USU-Herbarium” was organized in CSBG SB RAS for management and digitization two vascular plant herbarium collections (NSK and NS). Currently more than 79,000 digital copies of the vascular plants were placed on the CSBG SB RAS Digital herbarium (http://herb.csbg.nsc.ru:8081). In February, 1, 2021 the "USU-Herbarium" group was reorganized to Digital herbarium group (group leader Kovtonyuk N.K.) as part of the Vascular Plant Systematics Laboratory in CSBG SB RAS.

The nucleotide sequences of the nuclear rDNA ITS regions were determined for 34 species of the genus Primula L. and one species of the genus Cortusa L., family Primulaceae Vent., and used to infer the phylogenetic relationships among these species. In this analysis species
of the Russian flora and the flora of adjacent territories were studied for...
The herbarium material that was the basis for Primula nivalis, described by Peter Simon Pallas in 1776, and held at the Natural History Museum in London, is discussed, and a lectotype of Primula nivalis is designated.
The new species Primula bukukunica Kovt. found on the mountain Bukukun (Sokhondo Biosphere
Reserve, southern Chita Region) is described. Its morphological description and differences from the
related species P. farinosa L. are given. Photos of P. bukukunica from its locus classicus, and its ITS
rDNA sequences from Genbank database are presented.
In the end of the XIXth century French botanist A.R. Franchet has described near 60 taxa in the genus Primula L. In many cases, the original descriptions of Primula taxa were based on one or a few different gatherings, comprising several specimens which were sent to different herbaria. Consequently, a high number of isotypes and syntypes can be fou...

Pinaceae have been noted for their tendency towards reticulation as a result of interspecific hybridization. Here, we demonstrated the phylogeographic dynamics of the native Northeast Asian sub‐alpine conifer, Abies nephrolepis species complex (ANSC), evolving in circular overlaps along the Northeast Asian landform, which functions as a corrido...
The analysis of DNA nucleotide sequences is an important source of information in the identification of plant taxa or plant components in the composition of medicines. In this work, we studied the possibility of using universal molecular markers for DNA barcoding of rare plant species distributed in the Altai Biosphere Reserve, located in the Altai...
The article is dedicated to the memory of A.P. Khokhrjakov, a famous Soviet and Russian botanist, who was tirelessly passionate about collecting scientific herbarium throughout his life.
