The rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis) are exposed to water limitations in the Amazon region that can affect its physiology, making it necessary to select genotypes that are best adapted. This study analyzed the diurnal and seasonal changes in water use and status using traits of gas exchange and water relations in ten rubber tree genotypes in the i...

The rubber tree [Hevea brasiliensis (Willd. Ex Adr. de Juss.) Muell.-Arg] is the main source of natural rubber in the world. However, in the Amazon region, its production is reduced by biotic and abiotic limitations, which have prompted breeding programs in order to identify desirable agronomic and physiological indicators. The objective of this st...

The sweet granadilla fruit is appreciated in the national and international markets for its organoleptic and nutritional characteristics. However, very few studies have been done on its ecophysiology in the high-production areas of Colombia. Therefore, the aim of this study was to describe and analyze some aspects of the photosynthesis and water po...

Question
I want to know which is the best term to refer to the time considering that we don't have stations and ifit's right to say wet or rainy?
Question
I'm working in Rubber plantations to estimate carbon sequestration from measuring of height and diameter at breast height (DBH), method indirect by allometric equations, without harvesting tree and weight the tree. The studies that I have found, they all include the measuring of above ground biomass of a number of tree population for estimate regression equation, and I just have dasometric measuring, I don't have the possibility of destructive sampling.
