En el bienio 1999-2001 se especializó en Obesidad y Trastornos de la Conducta Alimentaria (Asociación Médica Argentina). En el año 2007 se doctoró en Nutrición y Metabolismo por la Universidad Rovira i Virgili (URV). Desde el 2007 ejerce como profesora e investigadora en la Facultad de Medicina de la URV.
