Description
- I teach courses in the College of Science and Mathematics and the School of Education. I am also a STEM education researcher on three different NSF funded projects. I implement and conduct research on a professional development model for K-12 STEM teachers. I also conduct research on the effects of non-cognitive factors on student retention and the effects of Peer-Led Team Learning on mathematics self-efficacy, mathematics anxiety, and sense of belonging.

Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) was implemented in the developmental mathematics courses at an open-enrollment historically black college and university (HBCU).
