This 5-days symposium will assemble 35 Africain, mostly eraly career mycologists and 10 senior European, American and Asian experts to discuss recent results on African myco-diversity and current trends in mycolgy. We are aiming at updating the scientific skills of junior mycologists concerning modern techniques, concepts and approaches, towards improving the competitiveness of early career mycologists in international scientific market (publications, grant seeking, job applications). Oral talks and posters will be accommodated into 8 symposium sub-topics, whilst parallel sessions will be supported by 8-10 plenary talks by worldwide reputed mycologists. We expect to depict methodological and technical discrepancies (regarding current trends) in order to discuss most adequate scientific tools and technics.
