The purpose of this project is to explore how school principals make sense of their work. The project investigates school principalship from a variety of perspectives: sociological (social structure, views on school administration and teaching as professions, and future prospects), bureaucratic, daily routines and typologies, interaction processes, and the creation and maintaining meaning. In short, being a school principal is explored with some epistemologic, ontologic and values such as being a woman principal.
