Introduction
I am working mainly on the taxonomy of freshwater amphipod species of Turkey. In addition, I and my colleagues are also working on the ecological features of macrobenthic invertebrates inhabiting Turkish freshwaters. After spending more than 20 years at the faculty, we have a rich invertebrate collection that was sampled from various habitats (from alpine lakes to lowland rivers) of Turkey in our museum.
