The mobility of user equipment (UE) in cellular network is a challenging issue in terms of its management. Current traditional handover in Long-Term Evolution (LTE) network is managed by evolved Node B or eNodeB (eNB) which is a decentralized solution. In contrast to existing technology, software defined network (SDN) has the capability of serving...
Over the past few years, Next Generation Networks (NGN) is perceived as a platform that will bring both application developers and mobile operators togather to develop applications with enhanced quality of experience. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is considered to be one of the important features in Mobile Next Generation Networks (MNGN). In our wo...
IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is considered to be one of the important features in Mobile Next Generation Networks (MNGN). It adds value to the mobile services and applications by integrating mobile network resources, such as location, billing and authentication. This is achieved by enabling a third party access to network resources. In previous wo...
Over the past few years, mobile operators are faced with enormous challenges.
Of such challenges, evolved user demands on personalized applications.

In this paper the study has been carried out for finding the position of a mobile subscriber from a network independent brokers' point of view. As each mobile device monitors signal strength, this helps in assisting the network to take timely handoff decisions. These signal strength measurements are referred to as NMR (Network Measurement Report)....

Is it possible to move a wireless not in NetSim while it is connected to an AP. As I have to perform handover from one AP to another AP. In short how mobility of a wireless node is possible in NetSIm.
I would like to ask that does OMNet++ have the supported modules for SDN (Openflow), LTE, WIFI and Mobility to simulate the mobility of a mobile user under these networks.
