In this work, we examine thin film flow of a non-Newtonian third-grade fluid flowing on a vertical moving belt. The modelled differential equation is solved using the Homotopy perturbation method and the Optimal axillary functions method. The solutions obtained by the proposed methods are compared through graphs and tables. Results reveal the effic...
Article
The significant influence of convective transport flow between compressing plates involving both homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions, with uniform ionic distribution across the plates’ surfaces, is examined. The physical situation is elucidated through the utilization of fundamental equations governing fluid flow, including the Poisson–Boltzman...

The main aim of this work is to study the influence of thermal conductivity of uniform couple stress fluid of inclined Poiseuille flow in the presence of magneto hydrodynamic (MHD) between two parallel plates. A well-known Vogel’s viscosity model is used. The momentum and energy equations are solved analytically by utilizing Homotopy Perturbation m...

The Poisson-Boltzmann equation characterizes the internal electric potential in electroosmotic and magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) processes, under the assumptions of thermodynamic equilibrium and negligible fluid flow effects. However, for significant convective ion transport, the Nernst-Planck equation is requisite. This study develops predictive model...

In this article, the plane Poiseuille flow of couple stress fluid of Vogel’s model between two parallel plates under the influence of non-isothermal effects have been investigated using Optimal homotopy asymptotic method (OHAM) and New iterative method (NIM). The governing continuity and momentum equations are transformed to ordinary differential e...

The present study aims to perform a comparative analysis of the plane Couette flow of a couple stress fluid under the influence of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) using two different methods: the Optimal Auxiliary Function Method (OAFM) and the Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM). The couple stress fluid is known for its non-Newtonian behavior, where the...

In this article, the solution to the time-fractional Fisher equation is determined using two well-known analytical techniques. The suggested approaches are the new iterative method and the optimal auxiliary function method, with the fractional derivative handled in the Caputo sense. The obtained results demonstrate that the suggested approaches are...
Article
In this paper, the Poiseuille flow of non-isothermal couple stress fluid of Reynolds model between two heated parallel inclined plates has been studied. The strongly nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations have been investigated using the Asymptotic Homotopy Perturbation method (AHPM) and the Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method with DJ Pol...

: This work solves the problem of thin-film withdrawal and drainage of a steady incompressible couple stress fluid on the outer surface of a vertical cylinder. The governing equations for velocity and temperature distributions are subjected to the boundary conditions and solved with the help of homotopy analysis method. The obtained expressions f...

The natural streamflow of the River is encouraged to forecast through multiple methods. The impartiality of this study is the comparison of the forecast accuracy rates of the time-series (TS) hybrid model with the conventional model. The behavior of the natural monthly statistical chaotic streamflow to use in the forecasting models has been compile...

This study investigates thin film’s drainage and lifting of a steady, non-isothermal-modified second-grade incompressible fluid. An approximate analytical technique The homotopy analysis method (HAM) is used to solve the developed governing equations for velocity and temperature fields together with boundary conditions. The expressions for velocity...

Tire-bead steel wires derived from the pyrolysis of waste-tires can be converted into the discrete reinforcement for fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC). This study for the first time presents the information about selecting the optimum dosage of recycled steel-fibers (RSF) in FRC application. Therefore, two most common types of RSF i.e., plain RSF (PR...
Article
The investigations to resolve the issue of low ductility and toughness of concrete led to the invention of fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC) by utilizing scattered fibers in a cementitious matrix. Besides offering a higher ductility, FRC developed with natural aggregates and industrial fibers is ecologically challenged and contributes to the depletio...

This research studies the structural performance of glass fibre-reinforced polymer (glass-FRP) reinforced concrete (RC) columns incorporating hybrid fibres (GFC) and steel rebars RC columns having hybrid fibres (SFC) using experiments, artificial neural networks (NN), and theoretical modeling. A set of eighteen (18) circular concrete columns, each...

A vast amount of nylon waste is being generated as paintbrushes, and how to reuse post-consumer nylon waste is a new crisis. The eco-friendly development of fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) is a major challenge in the construction industry considering the high cost of engineered fibers. Thus, owing to high tensile strength, recycled nylon fiber (RNF...

Different strategies have been utilized by investigators with the intention of upgrading the thermal characteristics of ordinary liquids like water and kerosene oil. The focus is currently on hybrid nanomaterials since they are more efficient than nanofluids, so as to increase the thermal conductivity of fluids and mixtures. In a similar manner, th...
