Introduction
I’m an Associate Professor of Animal Biotechnology at the University of Manouba, Tunisia. My research interests are associated with ticks and tick-borne pathogens (TBPs): 1) the development of novel molecular diagnostic and genotyping methods to better identify and genetically characterize ticks and TBPs; 2) the epidemiological and phylogenetic study of pathogenic and endosymbiotic tick-borne bacteria and 3) the contribution to developing new vaccines against ticks and TBPs.
