Originality of a manuscript is among the most important criteria to be published.
When we are reviewing a paper, we are faced with dilemma as to how much of it is original, how much of it is based on another paper, and how much of it is just repetition in a slightly different context.
When submitting a manuscript for possible publication by a review, we usually asked to justify that our manuscript contains sufficient contributions to the new body of knowledge.
