Introduction
My research focuses on the development, adaptation and validation of PRO instruments and their application to patients with chronic conditions, to incorporate patients’ perspectives into research. I also apply PROs as one of the main indicators for assessing efficacy, effectiveness, and efficiency in comparative effectiveness research. Primary treatments for localized prostate cancer and use of inhalers by patients with persistent asthma are some of the therapeutic interventions evaluated.
