Introduction
Dr. Moises Orengo-Aviles is a graduate of Brown University at Providence, Rhode Island, where he earned his doctoral degree in physics. He holds the rank of professor of physics at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. He has broad administrative experience, having served as Assistant Director and Associate Director of the Department of Physics, Director of the Center for Professional Enhancement, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research of the College of Arts and Sciences, Interim Dean of the College, and Dean until November 2009. Until June 2017 he was the appointed Chancellor at University of Puerto Rico-Carolina.
He has been distinguished by his publications and proposals related to the field of educational research. He was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico; the 11/12 siblings.
